🛡️ DMCA Policy – JobCareers.org

Effective Date: 08/07/2025

JobCareers.org respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to valid claims of copyright infringement committed using our website that are reported to our designated DMCA Agent.

This DMCA Policy outlines how copyright owners can notify us of infringing material, and how we handle such requests.

📘 What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. copyright law that provides a process for copyright holders to report infringing content online and request its removal. Although JobCareers.org operates from India, we voluntarily comply with the principles of the DMCA to protect copyright owners and ensure responsible content usage.

📄 Our Content Policy

JobCareers.org is an information-based website that shares government job notifications, exam updates, results, and educational articles. Most of the content we publish is:

  • Publicly available information sourced from official government websites
  • Summarized in our own words and formats for educational purposes
  • Not knowingly copied or hosted from any third-party copyrighted source

We make every effort to ensure that our content does not infringe on the rights of others. If you believe any material on our website violates your copyright, you can submit a DMCA takedown notice to us.

📥 How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that any content posted on JobCareers.org infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice including the following information:

  1. Your full name and contact information, including an email address and/or phone number
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed
  3. The exact URL(s) of the infringing material on JobCareers.org
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your electronic or physical signature

📧 Where to Send Your DMCA Notice

Please send your complete and properly formatted DMCA notice to our designated agent at:

Email: dmca@jobcareers.org
Subject Line: DMCA Notice – Copyright Infringement

We prefer email as the fastest method of processing DMCA requests.

⏱️ What Happens After You Submit a Notice?

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will review the complaint and verify the claim
  • If the content clearly violates copyright, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material within 48–72 hours
  • We may notify the user who uploaded or submitted the content (if applicable)
  • We will keep a record of the complaint for legal and policy purposes

We may also suspend or block repeated violators if necessary to comply with copyright laws and our internal policies.

📝 Counter Notification Process (Optional)

If you believe that content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. To be valid under the DMCA, a counter-notice must include:

  1. Your name, contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was wrongly removed
  2. The location (URL) where the content appeared before removal
  3. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of your local court
  4. Your signature (physical or electronic)

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content unless the original complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days.

❗ False or Misleading Claims

Please note: Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice can lead to legal consequences under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. We take such matters seriously. Only submit a claim if you genuinely believe your copyright is being infringed.

🚫 Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, access to users or contributors who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Users who submit or share content that repeatedly violates copyright law may be blocked from future access to our services.

🤝 Our Commitment

At JobCareers.org, we aim to maintain a fair and legally compliant platform for job seekers, students, and researchers. We respect creativity, intellectual labor, and authorship — and we encourage our users to do the same.

We do not knowingly publish copyrighted material. All job alerts, results, and admit card information are published for general public interest and are freely available on respective government websites.

If you find any issue or unintentional infringement, we are more than happy to cooperate and resolve the matter promptly.
